Even though RiRi didn’t attend the show, she was tied with Gotye for the second most awards won, winning 4 from a total of 10 nominations. This makes her total to 22 BMA’s!

Rihanna took home an award in all three R&B categories — Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Album (“Unapologetic”), Top R&B Song (“Diamonds”) — and separate to R&B, Top Radio Songs Artist.

• On May 8th, when a fan asked RiRi about ‘Pour It Up’ video, she gave confirmation that the video will be shot soon! Hard to wait eh? 
• Following the success of her previous fragrance line, Rebel’ Fleur, Rebelle and Nude, Rihanna is set to release her new fragrance named Rogue By Rihanna, which will have the anticipated Male fragrance as well as a female one released separately first one being the female fragrance.
• The 2013 BET Awards nominees have been revealed and RiRi notched 3 nominations.

Congrats to Rihanna who won the ”Crossover Artist of the Year” award at the 2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday. She beat Chris Brown, PSY and Flo Rida. It’s the first time she wins an award at this award show. In total, she earned three nominations (Crossover Artist of the Year in 2011, 2012 and 2013).

Rihanna and Billboard Music Awards definitely has a long and great history! Our girl, Rihanna previously scored 18 category appearances in 2011 and 13 more in 2012, and now she returns with a double digit as she is nominated for 10 awards at this years show! And how can we forget the 18 BMA’s sitting on Rih’s trophy case already?

She is only behind Maroon 5, Taylor Swift & Fun who has 11 nominations. Rihanna also performed her hit single, S&M along with the legendary Britney Spears at the 2011 show, shortly after the performance the track reached no.1!

The music video for her lead single off ‘Unapologetic’, ‘Diamonds’ has received two nominations at MTV Video Music Awards Japan.

She is competing with other great artists like Alicia Keys and Frank Ocean in the Best R&B Video category while she is with Taylor Swift for ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ in the Best Female Video category.

The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards Japan will be held in Chiba on June 22, 2013.

RiRi did not show up at the NRJ Music Awards this year, but she sure did get an award to take home. She won the award for “ International Female Artist Of The Year”, for the third time!

The official 2013 BRIT Award Nominations have been revealed and Rihanna has gained 2 nominations. They are:

• Best International Female Solo Artist
  
• Best British Single - With Capital FM and iTunes

Rihanna has been winning the award for ‘Best International Female Solo Artist’ for the past 2 years, lets hope she does it again this year! The show will take place live on her birthday, February 20th from London’s O2 Arena!

Rihanna may not have attended the show, but she got 1 more award to add to her trophy case! She won the award for ‘Favorite R&B Artist’ at this years People’s Choice Awards. Congratulations RiRi!

She is also set to perform at the coming GRAMMY Awards ceremony, where she will most likely perform her new single ‘Stay’. Stay tuned for more news.

Rihanna will be returning to the stage of the GRAMMY Awards third time in a row, as she has been announced to be performing at the ceremony. Other announced performes are The Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, Taylor Swift and fun.

She would most probably perform the second single from ‘Unapologetic’. Rumors say that ‘Right Now’ and ‘Stay’ are singles, but there is no official confirmation as of yet.

She is nominated for the Best Pop Solo Performance (“Where Have You Been”); Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (“Talk That Talk”); Best Short Form Music Video (“We Found Love”).

The 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, which co-incidentally happens to be my birthday! At Staples Center in Los Angeles and once again will be broadcast live in on CBS from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

Time to celebrate Rihanna Navy! Our girl has bagged 3 nominations for the 2013 GRAMMY Awards. Her last single from the 2011 album, “Where Have You Been” is nominated in ‘Best Pop Solo Performance’ while the other single ‘Talk That Talk” featuring rap vocals by Jay-Z is nominated in ‘Best Rap Sung Collaboration’.
