After the success of ‘Styled To Rick’ in the UK, it is set to premiere in the U.S on the Style Network. The hour-long 10-episode series, to premiere in 2013, will feature 12 rising fashion designers picked and mentored by Rihanna to style other celebrities.

“Fashion has always played an integral part in my life and career,” Rihanna says, via a press release from Style Media. “I am so excited to partner with Style Network and share my creative insight with these 12 designers and give them this opportunity to showcase their work.”

The American version of “Styled to Rock,” also produced by Shed MEdia US, Overbrook Entertainment and Marcy Media Films, launched the nationwide search for contestants on Style’s website,StyleNetwork.com/StyledtoRock, on Wednesday (Dec. 5). Rihanna will personally select the 12 competing designers from the pool of applicants.
